Victorian State Scale Championships 2011

The Vic State Champs were held on Saturday 4th November at the

Northern Flying Group – VMAA State Flying Field

The weather was fair with a moderate northerly breeze which varied throughout the day.

There were a total of 21 entries at the event with a larger majority flying in the ARF section.

We managed to get through a total of three rounds for each class.

A decision was made at the end of the days flying to cancel the Sunday event due to forecast weather.

The final placings by class are as below.

ARF

1st Place        David Law -  PC9

2nd Place        Noel Whitehead – RV4

3rd Place        Peter Bailey – Extra 300

  F4C

1st Place        David Law – Pitts Special

2nd Place        Noel Whithead – F4U Corsair

3rd Place      Gary Sunderland – PFALZ DXII

 Large Scale

1st Place        Noel Findlay – Gypsy Moth

2nd Place        Rob Dickson – TA152

3rd Place        Gary Sunderland – Nieuport N27
